Thanks to the World Of Mysteries (an awesome blog I check out to pass the time while work is slow in the office), I have now been enlightened on the amount of salt and sugar found in some delicious foods. Read “30 Terrible Salty Meals” and “Harmful Drinks in America” to see what I mean. It gives the sweetest and saltiest foods in several categories & their equivalent foods that we would probably never consume in gross amounts. Luckily, they also give healthier equivalents. Hint: you might not be happy afterward. I wasn’t when I found out about Starbucks White Hot Chocolate or Auntie Anne’s pretzels :(
Gotta love the mix of Chinese and English to form Chinglish. Just a sample of this awesome mixture found in Asia. Apparently it’s a big problem there, and Shanghai feels the need to “clean it up” according to this New York Times article. Click on the picture for more of the examples included in the slideshow or on the link to read the article. It’s actually quite interesting to see how they’re attempting to resolve the problem and where they think the roots lie.
& Only a little over a week to go until the series finale of Lost. I finally found time to catch up on all the episodes I’ve been missed over the last 2 months. It feels good to be caught up. Hurrah for Lost marathons! Boo for the show’s quickly approaching end. Admittedly, I’m still pretty confused (although, thankfully, not as much as I used to be)
It finally started at 10AM this morning after my last final.
It’s about goddamn time.
Celebrated with Mexican food & margaritas… before noon.
Lapsed into a coma after lunch b/c I got up at 6:30AM this morning.
Ricket Gervais show tonight!
Packing & major chillage tonight.
Work, more packing & moving out tomorrow.
Oh, this is the good life.
Oh hey, Junior year! Oh hey, sun! Oh hey, fun!
